Hamilton steps down as Carroll Head Coach

This 2017 season marks the end of an 11 year season for Carroll Head Coach Jackie Hamilton. He gave it his best shot during his tenure, but he says his run has ended and he wants nothing but the best for Carroll players.

Hamilton has been struggling with the Bulldogs for over a decade. His record as head coach is 53-75. Even this year he only posted a dismal 4-7 record.

Hamilton met with principal David Breithaupt and confirmed today (Tuesday, December 19, 2017) that it was time for a change of the guard.

Hamilton said he had a great run and looks forward to supporting the team in the years to come.

  1. Jackie Hamilton was an outstanding high school player at Carroll and he was an excellent role model for his payers during his coaching career. He is a quality person and I wish him well in future years. He loves the Bulldogs!
