Christ centered manger scenes? Yes! Cold myriads of lights? No!!

My friends, this writer is very saddened to report the anger and sorrow of our Lord God over our offensive Christmas displays.

Many of us have completely removed the true meaning of Christmas out of our lives. Instead of traditional mangers, wise men, shepherds, etc., we have chosen the ways of the world with foolish displays of cold lights and honoring a fat man with a long beard, supposedly riding a sleigh pulled by reindeers.

How did we get so far off base? Since most of our manufacturing centers have been mistakenly moved to foreign soils whose inhabitants serve different gods, decorations depicting and praising the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ have become almost non-existent.

The manufacturers of decorations depicting and praising the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are not being manufactured in abundance as in past years, and obviously cannot be purchased by American merchants for sale in this country. We have permitted it to be so. We are humbly bowing to the doctrines and behaviors of other countries; thereby, permitting our children to become indoctrinated and our children’s children, etc.

Several years ago, this writer went shopping for true Christmas decorations and to my horror discovered the only true representatives of the real Christmas celebrations displays were to be found in Christian-based stores, and they were limited because they probably could not locate them in order to place them for sale. A certain pastor while shopping for true Christian decorations, was distressed and acutely disappointed at finding a manger scene with a popular dog lying in the manger. I wonder how many sales did its manufacturers gain?

My friends, has it ever occurred to you that our sometimes strange weather and other distressful happenings throughout this world are the warnings given to us by God of our impending dangers ahead if we do not change our evil ways and obey his commandments?

Parents, tell your children the truth that their Christmas gifts are purchased with monies given to us by God and not brought to them by a fat man entering our homes through chimneys which many of us do not have located on our roof tops. Our mother told us the real truth about Christmas and gifts. We survived the real truth and so will you and your children, also.

Thank you God for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, our greatest gift ever given and received.

Love, Jacquelyn Simmons

P.S. Churches, God does not like Christmas trees on display on his premises. Beware!!!
