Scripture…Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual, songs singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God (Ephesian 5:19-21KJV).
My Dear Friends,
In out text for this very important message from God is recorded an account of the writings of the then prisoner, Apostle Paul, to the church at Ephesus. He was admonishing them to not only be grateful to God, the Father, but, for their blessings in songs to include gratitude and praises to His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. He prioritized their behavior and feelings toward each other with exhortations and instructions with spiritual songs, singing, and making melodies in their hearts to the Lord in the name of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. What a blessing!!! My friends, those instructions include us, also.
A few days ago, to my amazement, God gave me instructions to share something with you which almost floored me and probably you as well had you heard it, also. I was commissioned to deliver to you His intentions of promoting His salvation offer through His Son, Jesus Christ in song to His created world. According to His divulged plan, we are to start chanting (singing) as often as possible, His Son, “Jesus”; name…“Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”.
Some of you may say to yourselves and others, “I cannot sing”. However, God, being our awesome God, always has His assignments “worked out” before He gives them to us, His soldiers. We are not singing solos to an audience, we are singing to Him.
You will be surprised at how well you can develop a tune within you which only you and God can hear and understand. Eventually, you will find yourselves singing it during your cell phone, computer, tablet pecking, showering, bathing, cooking and eating, driving, reading, watching your favorite TV shows and you know what? Eventually, you will unexpectedly notice you are beginning to “pop” your fingers while “cutting a rug” (dancing) and singing loudly as you travel throughout the house and also in the company of others. People will eventually begin to watch you and if you stop to explain, begin to dance and sing, also. It is contagious!!!!!!!!
After reaching that stage or before, start including family members, loved ones and friends in your new “joy” assignment and watch them change to try and capture your “joy” in their facial expressions and behaviors, also. Encourage loved ones to chant in distant cities and countries – “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”.
Now here are blessings on blessings, instead of arriving at work and other very uncomfortable dismal places classified by you, especially among some extremely disliked supervisors, co-workers, classmates, neighbors and much disliked church members by you, etc., you will find you and them looking at each other from a different perspective.
Begin to say it now, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”, “Jesus”.…
Love you much!
