Residents praise cops for “trying” in aftermath Southside murder-suicide

Residents of a Southside housing complex are still reeling from a murder-suicide last week that left six people dead.

A woman, with a history of mental illness, killed a 20-year-old neighbor in her Apartment complex for no apparent reason, then returned to her own apartment and killed four of her own children before turning the gun on herself.

Monroe Police identified the shooter as Brittany Tucker, who reportedly encountered her neighbor Antisha Logwood, and asked her “What are you laughing at?” before shooting and killing her.
