Scripture: The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore, my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him (Psalm 28:7 KJV).
My Dear Friends,
We must bless God at all times for what he has done for us through Jesus Christ. Even when we stumble and fall short, he is always there to pick us up and give us another chance. Thank you God for your another chances.
Today’s message deals with God’s strength in which he extends to us when our problems become too heavy for us to bear. His strength enables us to endure the sufferings, distresses, disappointments and sorrows, which tax our physical or mental being during our lives. Each day, month or year has the potential to begin and end with mishaps that would leave us one alternative; and that is to depend on God’s strength.
Furthermore, when we cry out to God, he stretches his strength as far as from the heavens to the earth to keep us from falling. In fact, we can depend on his divine power to keep us strong through life challenges. Do you trust him to keep you strong and shield you from the dangers of this world? If you are confident enough to believe that the Lord is your strength, you can bear whatever may come your way.
Psalm 28 is “A Psalm of David”. He cries out to God and praises him for hearing his prayer. He was both trusting and hopeful that God would hear his call. In like manner, when we express the heaviness of our hearts, we must believe that God will hear our humble cries.
Therefore, trusting him and rejoicing in his goodness are in order for those who truly understand that he is worthy of all praises and adorations. Equally important, whatever heavy loads we may carry, God will give us the strength to continue life’s journey.
Additionally, there are persons known for their strength and forte to handle any situation that is presented as an expected problem. Nevertheless, even the strongest individual becomes weary and tired. It is important to note and understand that God’s power and strength will never weaken.
Isaiah points out “He hath given power to the faint; and to them that have no might; he increased strength” (Isaiah 40:29). God will renew our strength, especially when we feel that we are overloaded and cannot bear another burden. Through it all, the Lord is our strength and our shield.
