Zeta Phi Omega chapter Pink goes Red

Friday, February 1st was National Wear Red Day. Red is worn to raise awareness to heart health and efforts to end heart disease and stroke. Cardiovascular diseases kill nearly 50,000 African-American women annually. Annually, on this day, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. put away their pink, wear red, and execute a Community Impact Day, known as, Pink Goes Red for Heart Heath Day. Chapters across the nation host different events to inform the community about heart health and perform activities to get moving!
